Everyone is concerned about the safety of their loved ones such as your daughters, your sisters, your grandparents.
In 2019, India reported around 4,05,861 cases of crime against women. The number will touch the clouds if we add the numbers from other countries too.
The future world will definitely become a safer place but we can’t wait till then.
I would like to explain to you the project SHIELD with a story. ✏
Meet Zara, she works in an IT company. One day, she received a message from her family group. It was sent by her cousin, he asked them to download this app named “SHIELD”, in the message he also stated that this app can help us when we’re in danger.
She installed it, registered herself. Then she added her Mom’s, Dad’s, and sister’s number in the emergency contact list inside the app.
Months went by, she didn’t open the app once. One day, she was quietly working in her cabin. But she got some work suddenly.
She finished the work at 11 PM.
She tried to book a taxi to home but none was available as it was already 11.
She decided to hire an auto from the nearby auto stand
She was a bit worried because it was too late, so she turned on protection in SHIELD.
She left the office, was walking towards the auto stand.
Suddenly, she saw 3 motorcycles coming towards her. The motorcycles stopped.
There were 5 boys, they surrounded Zara.
They held her hands so she can’t call anyone. Zara couldn’t get her phone from her pocket to call someone for help.
Zara screamed HELP HELP HELP
SHIELD quickly recognized her, and immediately sent SOS and her live location to her Mom, Dad, and Sister.
Her Dad and Police came on time.
Hence Zara was saved.
So now, you know what is the main concept of SHIELD 🛡
SHIELD can help everyone. Danger doesn't see your gender or age.
But Women are the ones which face it regularly.
The crime rate with Women is much higher than Men.
But why are we unique?
There are many services like this which are already there in the market, so what is special in us?
Our tagline tells our uniqueness.
“Just say, Help”
There are many services in the market like some Jewelry pieces or some app, they have some sort of button installed in them. You need to tap that button and an SOS is sent.
Let's bring another example now: Imagine that someone is trying to kidnap you, he/she holds your hands so you can't call anyone or do anything.
In this situation can you press any button? NO!
But SHIELD requires you to scream Help. That's it.
